Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry
On behalf of the Nordic Federation of Clinical Chemistry (NFKK), the Swedish Society for Clinical Chemistry (SFKK), the Swedish Association of Clinical Biochemists (SSKF), the Institute of Biomedical Laboratory Science (IBL) and the Congress Organizing Committee, we are delighted to invite you to the 39th Nordic Congress of Clinical Chemistry in Stockholm 2024. The congress will take place in Stockholm, Sweden 17-20 September 2024 in Aula Medica, Karolinska Institutet.
We welcome participants from all laboratory medicine professions to attend and contribute to the increased understanding and knowledge of our field.
Our scientific program aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to shape the future of laboratories and address diverse challenges. It spans diverse areas of clinical chemistry, including future perspective and AI in the laboratory. Keynote lectures and sessions will have a spotlight on coagulation, cardiovascular, and neurodegenerative diseases with an emphasis on the laboratory's vital role in healthcare.
The 39th Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry also introduces a new "Development and Improvements" theme, facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration among professionals, including clinical chemists, lab technicians, researchers, and healthcare providers. This thematic focus includes discussions on promoting diversity, evolving skill sets for future lab careers, ensuring healthy workplaces, and sharing lessons from lab experiences during crises.
It is our hope that this meeting, combined with the social activities we have organized, will provide the perfect setting for you to make new friends and cultivate significant relationships with colleagues specializing in clinical chemistry.

About the Congress
The Nordic congresses have been organized every other year since the forties. The latest one took place in 2018 in Helsinki and was the 36th in the series.
The congresses in 2020 and 2022 were canceled due to the CoV-2 pandemic.
In 2024, we are delighted inviting you to Stockholm and Aula Medica, located close to Karolinska Instututet.
